Mike Yelton

Mike Yelton is president, Americas Region, Electrical Sector of Eaton, an intelligent power management company.

Most recently, Mike served as president, Assemblies and Residential Solutions group (ARS), Electrical Sector, Americas. In that role, he had responsibility for managing the newly created group including determining synergies across a wide range of products.

Mike previously served as president and general manager of Commercial and Residential Distribution Services division (CRDS) at Eaton. He joined Eaton in 1993 and has held numerous senior management positions in engineering, marketing, and operations.

His previous leadership positions within Electrical Sector Americas include: plant manager (Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico), plant operations manager (Greenwood, SC), front-end / engineering manager (Greenwood, SC), MV switches product line marketing manager (Sumter, SC), power center manager (Portland, OR), lowvoltage assemblies product manager (Asheville, NC), and medium voltage controls engineering manager (Asheville, NC).

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
